Worker Rights

The Wage and Hour Division mission is to promote and achieve compliance with labor standards to protect and enhance the welfare of the nation's workforce. U.S. Department of Labor are committed to ensuring that workers in this country are paid properly and for all the hours they work.

There is no single definition or definitive list of workers' rights. The International Labor Organization (ILO) identifies what it calls "fundamental principles and rights at work" that all ILO Members have an obligation to respect and promote, which are:

  • freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;
  • elimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labor;
  • effective abolition of child labor;
  • elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation; and
  • a safe and healthy working environment.

We believe Employee rights are the fundamental rules employers are legally bound to abide by in their professional relationship with employees. Rights are ethical, legal, and social principles of safety and freedom accorded to citizens by law.

A happy employee is the guarantee of a successful organization. A successful organization is the driving force of a country's economy. And a prosperous economy is the main pillar of a developed nation. If we dream of "making America great again", then we must ensure the rights of an employee.

About 4.52 million immigrants in new York in 2023. This translates to approximately 23.1% of the population, or roughly 2 in 9 residents in New York. Immigrants are defined as foreign-born residents, which includes people who became US citizens, are authorized to come to the US (e.g., work visas, student visas), or are undocumented residents.

They cannot understand each other because of different countries or lifestyles. Which is keeping these new citizens behind the mainstream. Which is affecting the US economy.

We believe that cultural exchange provides various benefits at the individual, community and national levels. Because, knowing increases respect, respect for each other helps to move forward. That is why we take cultural exchange seriously. At their core, these programs seek to provide development opportunities for participants and have a positive impact on the host community.

Let's dream of a beautiful America with knowing and understanding each and other.
